The famous Conwy Valley Railway Line runs from Llandudno on the coast through Betws y Coed to Blaenau Ffestiniog in the Snowdonia Mountains. It follows the banks of the River Conwy, and gives travellers the chance to view the areas breath-taking scenery, including the ancient quarries, forests and the high peaks of Snowdonia. There is also a museum for visitors to explore the railway’s history in more detail at the Betws-y-Coed station itself.
